For this project, we were tasked with designing both a print and interactive catalogue for the MET Art Rentals, including a new logo design. The MET, an esteemed institution known for collecting, studying, conserving, and presenting significant works of art, offers select pieces for rent to a narrow scope of eligible clients, such as luxury collectors, investors, and curators from other galleries and museums.
I conceptualized a catalogue titled URUSHI: The Art of Japanese Lacquerware, which highlights 16th–19th century Japanese lacquerware pieces from The MET’s Asian Art Collection.
To ensure accessibility and minimize distribution costs, we created both a print version and a digital, interactive catalogue, which includes a fillable form for potential clients to easily request rental information. The digital format maximizes usability while retaining the high-quality visual appeal of the printed version.
The preview below shows a printed booklet view and a digital copy of the PDF with interactive features such as image roll over and fillable form fields can be downloaded here (please view in Acrobat PDF for full functionality.)
